This morning, we depart your Hotel at 9.00am and enjoy the picturesque scenery as you travel to one of Australia’s prettiest and oldest wine-producing regions, Clare Valley. Your first stop is the magnificent heritage listed Martindale Hall located in Mintaro, built 1879-1880. You will have some time to wander through the mansion, coach house, stables and associated structures before enjoying lunch in the magnificent formal dining room. Our next stop is Sevenhill Cellars, the first winery ever built in the Clare Valley for a wine tasting. Mid-afternoon continue your journey northwards, to your overnight stay in Port Augusta. This evening you will enjoy a lovely 2 course meal in the Hotel Restaurant.
